The WyshTech AEG Spring Strength Tester measures the compression force of an airsoft AEG spring at different points throughout its stroke. It's especially useful for airsoft techs and players who have accumulated a pile of mystery springs and no longer know what's an M100, M110, M120, M130, or something entirely different.

Instead of relying on spring length, wire diameter, color, or simply how stiff a spring feels, this tester gives you a repeatable force measurement that can be compared against known springs.

Digital Force Measurement

The included digital pull scale provides precise, repeatable measurements with a capacity of up to 110 lb / 50 kg—far beyond what's required for typical AEG spring testing.

Built for the Workbench

The main components are 3D printed from ABS plastic rather than PLA or PETG. ABS was specifically chosen to provide a tough, durable construction capable of handling regular use and abuse on an airsoft tech's workbench.

3D printing also keeps manufacturing costs down, allowing us to offer a practical and affordable specialty tool without unnecessarily increasing the price.

How It Works

Place your AEG spring into the tester and compress it to your desired measurement point. The digital scale displays the force required to reach that amount of compression.

For identifying unknown springs, first measure known springs at consistent compression points and record the results. You can then test a mystery spring under the same conditions and compare its measurements against your known springs.
